Description

Broad fuzzy horizontal bands repeating every 1.3-inch (33 mm).

Most likely causes

Generally caused by a 1.3-inch (33 mm) developer roller inside a print cartridge that is not perfectly round. As the roller turns, different amounts of toner are deposited on the paper.
The print cartridge is near the end of its life.

Troubleshooting and suggestions

The cyan cartridge is damaged. Replace the cyan print cartridge with a new cyan cartridge.
After replacing the cartridge, print out another set of test pages.
Click to print the test pages.
Look at the new set of test pages. If the issue is not resolved, contact HP.

Recommended parts

may need to be replaced.
Note: It is not necessary to replace the other print cartridges.
