This Web site helps you to identify and troubleshoot your print quality issue.

Before starting to troubleshoot your issue, check the printer control panel to see if it displays any messages to order or replace supplies. If so, replace the supply item.
Order supplies

Perform the following procedure to find a solution for your print quality issue.

Step 1:

Print out the test pages.

  1. Load either 8.5 x 11-inch paper (letter) or A4 in Tray 2 Pictures of the paper tray 2. Clicking this icon will open a new window. of your printer.

  2. Perform the Setup Page procedure using your computer. Show me how.

  3. Perform the Setup Color procedure using your computer. Show me how.

  4. Click   to print the test pages using your computer.
Step 2: Walk over to the printer you are troubleshooting and pick up the test pages.

Look at the test pages and check whether the word "TOP" is printed on the short edge of the test pages. If not, you may not have performed Step 1 correctly. Repeat Step 1.

Step 3: Troubleshoot – for each test page that has the print quality issue, click on the corresponding test page below.

Cyan Test Page Magenta Test Page Yellow Test Page Black Test Page Blank Test Page
