  1. When replacing print cartridges, do I need to unplug the printer?
    [ANSWER] No, you don't have to unplug the printer.

  2. What is "cyan"?
    [ANSWER] "Cyan" can be simply interpreted as "blue".

  3. What is "magenta"?
    [ANSWER] "Magenta" can be simply interpreted as "pink".

  4. I have multiple print quality issues.
    [ANSWER] You need to solve the issues one by one. Repeat Step 3 on the home page.

  5. How do I know that the test pages are oriented correctly?
    [ANSWER] The test pages should have "TOP" on the short edge of the paper.

  6. My test pages are cropped.
    [ANSWER] You may not have performed the Setup Page procedure correctly. Repeat Step 1-b on the home page.

  7. The background color of the black test page is not black.
    [ANSWER] You may not have performed the Setup Color procedure correctly. Repeat Step 1-c on the home page.

  8. Do I have to print out test pages several times?
    [ANSWER] Printing test pages is necessary for troubleshooting. Test pages are used to check the results of the changes you make to your printer as a part of troubleshooting procedures. It helps you check if your print quality issues are resolved.

  9. Do I have to repeat the Setup page procedure and the Setup color procedure whenever I print out test pages?
    [ANSWER] If you do not close the browser on which you have performed the Setup page procedure and the Setup color procedure, you don't need to repeat the procedures. But if you close the browser and open a new browser, you have to repeat the Setup page procedure and the Setup color procedure.

  10. Can it be a problem to use non-HP supplies?
    [ANSWER] Non-HP supplies can damage your printer. HP strongly recommends you to use HP supplies to avoid potential problems.

  11. Even though I followed all instructions, I can't resolve my print quality issue.
