Description
Thin horizontal lines repeating every 1.3-inch (33 mm).

 Most likely causes
  • During shipment or storage, internal print cartridge Picture of the printer cartridge. Clicking this icon will open a new window. components contact one another and may be damaged.
  • The print cartridge is unused for three or more weeks after the print cartridge is opened and all packaging materials are removed.
  • The print cartridge is near the end of its life.
 Troubleshooting and suggestions
  1. The cyan cartridge is damaged. Replace the cyan print cartridge with a new cyan cartridge.
  2. After replacing the cartridge, print out another set of test pages.
    Click   to print the test pages.
  3. Look at the new set of test pages. If the issue is not resolved, contact HP.
 Recommended parts
The cyan print cartridge Picture of the printer cartridge. Clicking this icon will open a new window. may need to be replaced.
Note: It is not necessary to replace the other print cartridges.
