|
|
Description |
Thin horizontal lines in the color of the new print cartridge.
Only one repeating line may be seen, repeating every 3.7-inch (94 mm),
or the issue may appear in sets of two lines, which are 0.55-inch (14 mm) apart and repeat every 3.7-inch (94 mm).
|
- Most commonly observed shortly after a new
print cartridge
has been installed.
During shipment or storage, internal print cartridge components contact one another and may be damaged.
- The print cartridge is near the end of its life.
|
Troubleshooting and suggestions |
- Turn off the printer, wait one minute, and turn it back on.
This will rotate the internal print cartridge components from their original position.
The 3.7-inch (94 mm) repeating line should disappear after 72 hours.
- After 72 hours,
print out another set of test pages.
- Look at the new set of test pages. If the issue is not resolved, contact HP.
