This test checks if the vertical lines are caused by the blackprint cartridge
.
If you have another new or undamaged used black print cartridge available, do the following:
- Install the new black print cartridge.
-
Print out another set of test pages to check.
Click to print the test pages.
- Look at the new set of test pages.
If the vertical lines disappears, the black print cartridge that you removed is damaged. Replace the black print cartridge with a new black print cartridge.
If the vertical lines do not disappear, contact HP.
